Les Saisies
Major ski resort of the area, was created in 1963 on Les Saisies pass, and welcomed 1/3 of the Olympic Games events in 1992.
Cradle of the Espace Diamant, one of the widest downhill ski domains in Europe (same number of slopes as the Espace Killy, for a total of 185kms), Les Saisies is linked to Crest Voland, Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet and Praz sur Arly. The resort is famous for its exceptional snow conditions (from december to april) and the runs between fir trees, pastures, facing Mont Blanc.
Cross country enthusiasts will also be fullfilled: 120kms of runs, the Olympic Cross country and Biathlon stadium.
Les saisies is probably one of the only resorts in the world to propose as much slopes on the same site: 120 km of nordic slopes and 185km of alpine runs with the Espace Diamant.
